We are looking for an AIV System Engineer on behalf of and in support of our client for their location in Rome, Italy.

The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries).

Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:Tasks and ResponsibilitiesGround Segment and subsystems verification plans definitions, maintenance, and control;Carry out assembly, integration, and verification of Ground Segment and subsystems at all levels;Support systems design;Interfacing with all subsystems and relevant teams during AIV phases;Support to operational and pre-operational phases;Production of technical documents. Minimum RequirementsUniversity degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering;At least ten years of working experience in a relevant field;Desired SkillsKnowledge of System Engineering and system-level knowledge of all Ground Segment subsystems;Proficient in working in a Linux environment and hardware virtualized environment;Experience in ECSS AIV process;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team;High motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibility;Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
