As a leading provider of Risk Management solutions in the global market, Prometeia is looking to strengthen its Software Presale Team for ALM & Treasury Risk Solutions, by hiring a Senior Consultant with proven experience in the fields of ALM, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), Funding & Liquidity Risk, Risk & Financial Planning.
MAIN TASKS
The resource will be tasked with serving as a key technical resource through the sales cycle.
As a result, the Consul shall play the role of subject matter expert in the features and strengths of our software solutions to properly educate customers, gain consensus, and demonstrate value solving their business and regulatory concerns.
This position is your opportunity to succeed as a pre-sales professional, allowing you to work with state of the art ALM & Treasury RIsk offerings. We'll provide you with continuous training and mentorship to help you on your way to success as a sales engineer.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Present and demonstrate Prometeia ALM solutions to both business and technical users. Successfully facilitate solution discovery, proofs of concepts, and technical deep dive sessions with customers. Build environments tailored to customer requirements as proof of concept during the sales lifecycle, to illustrate product capabilities and how they align specifically with customer objectives. Participate in writing proposals in response to RFIs / RFPs that showcase how the Prometeia product line provides solutions to the customer's business needs. Collaborate regularly with product management as a field representative regarding product development and improvements, effectively conveying customer requirements. Establishing relationships with key customer business and technical advocates that have the power to drive long-term Prometeia strategy within the Risk industry, Developing customer's buying vision for how Prometeia can help them reduce costs and increase business agility. Support Prometeia Marketing teams by developing and delivering product demonstrations, workshops, white papers. EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidates had developed 3-5 years of experience in ALM and Treasury Risk field, in the banking sector, consulting or Risk Technology firms, in one or more of the following areas:Sales or presale of ALM & Treasury Risk solution, specifically for the banking sector;Implementation of ALM & Treasury Risk Management analytics;Development and maintenance of ALM & Treasury Risk reporting processes. The role requires a deep technical expertise and customer facing skills in the dynamic RiskTech industry, focusing in particular on Treasury Risk processes such as:Asset Liability ManagementInterest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB)Funding & Liquidity RiskHedge AccountingFund Transfer Pricing & Margin AttributionIn addition, the role also requires:Proven success in a customer facing, pre-sales role proposing software solutions at all levels of a customer organization. Proficient in having conversations with both business and IT stakeholders and addressing common concerns around interoperability and differentiation from common enterprise systems. Very comfortable presenter of technical and business material to both small and large groups at varying levelsTECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREDProficiency and hands-on experience in managing data flows, typically using SQL and ETL tools;Excellent Microsoft Office skills e. g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint;Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills;Solid working experience in risk modelling is a distinctive factor. Demonstrable experience of addressing Risk and Regulatory Compliance needs;Interest in developing subject matter expertise on ALM frontier issues. SOFT SKILLS REQUIREDEffective communicator in a multi-national and multi-discipline environment;Fluency in English language is mandatory (at least C1);Proficiency in Italian, German or French is considered a strong plus;Capable of working within a multi-language and multicultural environment;Strong attention to details and technicalities;Excellent organizational and technical skills;Teamwork attitude, flexibility and proactivity;Problem solving skills and good interpersonal skills.
