Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number: 2018508F Position Title: American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: part-time/9-months Department: 145-Communication Position Summary: Villanova University invites applications for an adjunct teaching position in Introductory American Sign Language ( ASL ) for undergraduate courses only, to begin fall 2018.
The specific courses are Introduction to ASL I (Fall Semester) and ASL II (Spring Semester).
Qualifications: Deaf, ASL -fluent preferred; CODA considered.
MA preferred but will consider BA or BS with evidence of teaching experience, not necessarily college.
The applicant must be committed to excellence in teaching.
