**About the role

As an AML/CTF Officer, you will act as second line of defence for HCFX PAY where you will be responsible for all policies, procedures and controls which HCFX PAY must have in place to mitigate potential financial crime risks associated with HCFX PAY's operations.

You will have primary oversight of client onboarding process and the on-going monitoring of client transactions and their KYC information.

**Key responsibilities

As AML/CFT Officer for HCFX PAY, you will be responsible for:

- Establishing written policies and procedures regarding AML/CFT, client onboarding policies and procedures in order to have measures in place to control money laundering risks as required by AML regulations as enforced by the Bank of Italy

- Overseeing the onboarding and continuing monitoring of HCFX PAY clients activities

- Drawing up an annual report on the activities carried out in relation to AML/CFT and other regulatory requirements to be submitted to the board of directors

- Being the point of contact with the Bank of Italy and FIU in the areas of AML/CFT

- Cooperating with the Front Office in a timely manner in order to adhere to both regulatory and policy requirements while considering the business objectives

- Liaising with internal audit function in connection with their own third level checks

- Monitoring regulatory developments and provide the necessary guidance towards implementation of any changes in regulations

- Ensuring to keep orderly audit trail of the activities and escalating violations

- Checking that training requirements are met by employees and organize additional training if needed, conduct training, and disseminate appropriate AML/CFT awareness / policies to staff.

**Essential experience & skills**:

- Professional qualification from an internationally recognized body (e. g ICA, ACAMS) in AML/CFT Compliance

- Proven knowledge of Italian and EU AML legislations

- Experience with the Bank of Italy or FIU AML/CFT reporting requirements for payment institutions preferable

- Fluent English and Italian; written and spoken

- Nice to have is proficiency in Spanish language skills

- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Excellent computer literacy.
