Ams Verification Leader
In the AA business Unit, the Battery Management Systems (BMS) Segment drives the business of NXP's leading mixed-signal battery management products for automotive and industrial markets. Together with a worldwide design team, we develop application specific standard products which integrate high performance analog functions as well as digital logic ranging up to 32 bit microcontrollers and DSPs in high voltage CMOS processes.
We are now searching for the best talents over the world to meet our business growth. We plan to hire +60 people by 2022 to work on our BMS products. We are looking for Design, Test, verification, validation, application engineers.
For our fast-growing product line Drivers and Energy Systems, we are currently looking for a mixed signal verification leader to drive the execution for the verification of our mixed-signal circuit designs.
You already have a good experience in leading large projects in order to guide AMS verification engineers and contractors, assign tasks, and build project verification environments.
You have excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across organizational and geographical boundaries.
You are used to making timely decisions in the face of incomplete information, managing risks and setting priorities driven by business impact.
Successful applicants will be accountable for:
Leading AMS verification team in projects
Improving MS verification environment for higher speed and lower cost
Bridging digital verification environment with mixed signal environment
Supporting Analog virtual test team for running production test program before TO
Innovating and influencing for continuous methodology improvement to improve cycle time and quality
Growing verification engineers from the team
On top of that, as a project leader you will need to be accountable for:
Mastering the specification of the devices under test
Defining the test specification of our products in closed collaboration with design leaders, verification architect and product definers
Defining the AMS verification strategy to reach 100% functional coverage prior to tapeout on our products
Developing the simulation environment: drivers, monitors, checkers, and assertions
Developing and validating high-performance behavioral models
Developing and running top-level simulations according to the verification plan
Preparing and holding design verification reviews
Creating and maintaining regression test suites
Reporting bugs, proposing solutions, and following their resolution
Reviewing verification team deliverables (code, coverage results)
You will work closely with analog and digital designers as well as test and applications engineers to support both pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in driving MS verification for large projects and teams.
Expertise in mixed signal / co-simulation (analog, digital) verification methodologies
Experience writing verification plans, creating test benches and automating regression test suites, preparing and presenting detailed verification reviews
Strong competences in developing and validating behavioral models for analog IPs (both event-driven/WREAL and conservative/Verilog AMS or System Verilog RNM)
Understanding and debugging digital RTL and analog schematics
Working knowledge of state-of-the-art EDA tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Xcelium/Spectre, Cadence Vmanager
Strong background in design and verification languages and methodologies (e. g. Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA).
Experience in configuration database management (DesignSync, Git, SVN)
Solid scripting skills (Python or Perl or TCL).
Experience in growing engineers to their next level
10+ years' experience verifying mixed-signal ASICs
Good communication skills
Optional Qualifications:
Experience in promoting verification methodology and strategies to different teams spread across different continents
Tools: Collabnet, JIRA, Confluence
