**Analog IC Designer Junior **(0-3 years experience)
Job Overview
To strengthen our IC design team, we are currently looking for a junior analog IC designer.
The engineer requested for this position will be responsible for designing, simulating and driving characterization of several functional basic blocks within our IC device, core of our Eggtronic power adapter.
The selected person will report to the senior IC designer and will work in close collaboration with our R&D team for the development of new IPs to be integrated into the next generation ASICs.
**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive engineer, able to work in completely synergy with an heterogeneous team and ready to be responsible for:
Model of analog or mixed-signal functions.
Schematic CMOS design and layout of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (LDO, OpAmp, Bandgap, ADC, DAC, )
Verification and characterization of analog and mixed-signal ICs.
Silicon validation activities with laboratory instrumentation.
Qualifications and Background
PhD or MS Degree in Microelectronics or Physics.
0-to-3 years related experience.
Strong knowledge of the CMOS technology and manufacturing process.
Good knowledge of some modelling languages like, Verilog-A or VHDL-AMS will be appreciated.
Consolidated knowledge on complete ASIC design flow (from schematic to layout).
Good knowledge of existing EDA tools (Cadence or Synopsys Design Framework).
Basic knowledge of VHDL or Verilog language (advantage).
Basic design experience in one of the following Analog / Mixed-Signal IC building blocks: Amplifiers,
Data Converters, Bandgap, comparators, current and voltage sources.
Basic experience in noise analysis and corner/statistical simulations.
Good knowledge of DC-DC converter design (buck, boost, buck-boost, inverter).

Good knowledge of BCD technology and reliability issues for HV integrated circuits.

Good English knowledge (written and spoken).
