NoOffer DescriptionStaging and therapeutic indications in Fuchs' disease have always been based on slit-lamp biomicroscopy classifications of corneal edema and changes in corneal pachymetry in cases of frank edema.

More recently, it has been shown that the disease can have a strong impact on the quality of vision even in cases of subclinical corneal edema.

At this stage, it becomes essential to be able to provide the patient with a prognostic indication regarding the evolution of the disease and the need for surgical treatment, such as endothelial keratoplasty.

The combined analysis of the visual disability caused by the disease, obtained through the subjective V-FUCHS questionnaire, and corneal tomographic variables, would allow the formulation of an algorithm that correlates clinical and instrumental disease data.
