As part of the Finance Team, the Financial Analyst will support the Manufacturing in all the financial aspects.
This position will strongly contribute to the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting process through financial analyses/what if scenarios.
She/He will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership on preparation of accurate and detailed budget and forecast projections/models.
This role will report to the Associate Director - Manufacturing Finance & Procurement.
**Main activities**:
**Prepares budgets and forecast by establishing schedules**: collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
Month-end process management, ensure accurate close of the books (Accruals, reconciliations etc. )
with clear explanations of variances vs Plan/forecast
Capital planning/forecasting, variance analysis
Standard Cost calculation
Prepares ad-hoc analysis/Business cases/ what if scenarios by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Supports financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
Ensure compliance with APA in collaboration with General Accounting
SOX controls execution
Reports for internal/external auditors
Managing fiscal good destruction
**Basic Requirements**:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other similar studies
3 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities, preferably in a multinational context
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (US GAAP/Italian GAAP)
Proficient in English to work effectively internally and with contacts in multiple countries
Passionate for IT - Proficiency in Advanced Excel (sumifs, vlook ups, pivot tables, filtering options, etc.
)
Proficiency in SAP/Power BI tool will be a plus
**Additional Skills/Preferences**:
Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity
MBA will be a plus
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, proactivity, team working skills and enthusiasm
Continuous improvement approach
