The Global Information Technology (IT) Department of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is actively working on rationalizing and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group.
This ongoing initiative bears many aspects and lead to many projects mobilizing the overall workforce of the company.
**Analytics/Commercial Back Office Assistant**:
Main responsibilities
- Provide tender analysis and wrap-up through the process stages, take care of the tender in every
aspect, during the whole negotiation process (different rounds of negotiation) and facilitate the
final round/conclusion of the deal for the Global Account Manager
- Draft, negotiate offers and contracts
- Provide support to our customers
- Manage, coordinate, collaborate with agencies WW involved in Global Customers business:
quote for Tender validity and spot requests, process the rate data together with TMS for Manifest
procedure, deal with disputed invoices to support agencies and clients.
- Deal with different departments in the HQ, Liners, Logistics, Legal, Pricing, Marketing, FMC filing -> run/coordinate internal negotiation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail, rigorous and highly organized
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Very good English skills, other languages are a plus
- Advanced IT skills (in particular Excel)
