If you want to be challenged and pushed harder than ever before, we invite you to apply. The roleWe're seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Analytics Engineer (an individual contributor) to join our Data & Analytics team within the Growth organization.

This role will take on responsibilities building and maintaining our foundational data infrastructure as well as driving a data-driven culture. The ideal candidate has a proven track record creating accurate and reliable data models that power actionable insight and analysis.

This role will use sales, marketing and ecommerce data to build reporting, dashboards and KPIs while extracting findings from complex analyses. How you'll contributeBuild and maintain ETL pipelines from various data sources (Stripe, Amplitude, Shopify, Klaviyo and other internal databases/tooling)Work with cross-functional stakeholders in defining, creating and documenting company-wide single source of truth data models that power analytics and reporting (using DBT and LookML)Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Looker and other tools to provide key insights to the Growth team or other cross-functional teamsWork closely with the Engineering team to ensure data analytics requirements are scoped and built into new Website features and internal toolsDevelop robust QA processes to ensure data accuracy and integrityWhat you need to succeedMinimum 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer or similar technical roleB. S.

degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field preferredExpert-level knowledge of SQL, experience using Python or R is a plusAdvanced knowledge of end-to-end data infrastructure, including using data pipeline tools, data transformation tools such as DBT and data warehousing best practicesExpert knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Google Sheets/ExcelA data-driven approach to performance marketing and experience utilizing large data sets to inform strategic decision makingExperience leading enterprise wide data projects, structured and unstructured, joining large and complex data setsHighly effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into data-driven solutionsBe an Independent self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable owning a high level of responsibilityWhy join Eight Sleep?
