Ap Vendor Master Data Specialyst
In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Create, maintain, and update vendor master data records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all relevant systems.
- Validate vendor information, including legal name, address, tax identification number, banking details, and other relevant data points.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e. g HR, production, ) to gather necessary vendor information and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform data quality checks and cleansing activities to identify and correct data errors and inconsistencies.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures related to vendor master data.
- Support internal and external audits related to vendor master data.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to vendor master data processes and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users on vendor master data related processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize vendor master data processes and enhance data quality.
**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills
- Proven experience (e. g. , 1-3 years) in vendor master data management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e. g. , SAP, Oracle, etc. )
and vendor master data modules.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent data entry and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Abity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Experience with data cleansing and validation tools is a plus
