We are looking for an Application Engineer with responsibilities at the Support interface , to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings area. Your Challenge As Application Engineer with responsibilities at the Support interface as part of a global team your mission is to support our customers with new developments and at the same time maintenance of existing extension modules for our Building Management Systems. Your main activities will be: Specifying southbound integrations and northbound applications Analyzing 3rd party Interface Specifications Applying technical knowledge to identify the best way to meet customer expectations Supporting customers during test phase and after the market release Troubleshooting and fixing technical issues Cooperating with R&D to improve product quality and capabilities, shaping the product direction based on customers' requests and their impact Coordinating external support team members to supervise progress of support requests Taking care on technical infrastructure for new developments and tests as well as for troubleshooting To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have: General knowledge of programming languages C#, HTML, Javascript Familiarity with REST APIs IT networking know-how, with a focus on troubleshooting Interest in SaaS applications and familiarity with cloud environments would be a plus Familiarity with Desigo CC BMS would be a plus Aiming to collaborate and be a team player, with strong communicational and organizational skills Passion to never-stop growing Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge Proficiency in English and Italian Eligibility to work in Italy What we offer Flexibility: trustful environment with an inclusive and flexible way of working driven by results; Hybrid and remote working enabled by innovative tools and devices, personal computer and smartphone; wi-fi connection reimbursement.
