Our diverse business lines ensure the company is a leading player in a wide variety of global markets. Prama c, part of the third group in the world in the production of diesel and gas generators, is looking for an Application Engineer for Data Center to join our Team.

Directly reporting to the Application Engineering Manager, is a key technical resource responsible for supporting the global sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing innovative, reliable solutions for data center projects.

This role focuses on driving the technical evaluation and selection process across all regions while collaborating with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure the successful delivery of integrated data center solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Technical and economical proposalsLead technical discussions with clients to understand their specific requirements, Provide expert consultation and guidance to customers on optimal product selection and system configuration. Work with internal engineering teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet client specifications and align with industry standards. Support the global sales team by providing technical expertise during the pre-sales phase, from initial inquiries through to proposal preparation. Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and provide cost-benefit analysesPrepare and present detailed technical proposals, system specifications, and product documentation for data center projects. Work closely with project management, engineering, and field installation teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of Pramac's solutions into customer data centers. Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the data center marketMonitor competitor offerings and market demands, providing feedback to the product development teams to enhance Pramac's product portfolio and maintain competitive positioning. Identify emerging opportunities and gaps in the data center market, recommending strategic solutions for Pramac's growth. Share best practices, lessons learned, and customer feedback with internal teams to enhance product development and customer satisfaction. Knowledge:Knowledge of industry regulations and energy standards. Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus. Excellent knowledge of the Office package. High technical knowledge of the product. Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams and manage complex projects. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Qualifications:Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; At least 5 years ofexperience in the role of Application Engineer, preferably in the generator and power systems sector for data centers.
