FICEP SPA, a leading company in the engineering sector, is looking for: Role: APPLICATION ENGINEER Purpose of function: To ensure that technology and processes are kept up to date with regard to machining by chip removal, programming and use of CNC machines designed and manufactured in the Beam and Sheet Metal Carpentry division. Main responsibilities and activities: Keeping abreast of Ficep product features and performance of the machine and command and control systems. Ensuring technological updates relating to tools for continuous improvement of machine performance. Performing machining tests and inspections for continuous improvement of the product. Drafting documents for information and dissemination purposes regarding research, testing, and inspection activities. Supporting the software development of partner companies and representing their reference on the testing of new functionalities. Supporting the company's choices regarding CNC hardware, HMI software, and programming software developments. Participating in Working Groups relating to new product development activities, collaborating in the definition of new solutions in terms of usability consistent with the technological processes managed. Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of technological processes of mechanical machining by chip removal, tools, and materials. Proficiency in CAD/CAM design systems. Ability to manage CNC machine tools (ISO programming, preparation, and machining). Ability to analyze results and report using office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Requirements: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (mechanical/electronic/informatics). Availability for short assignments.
