As part of the WU Digital Customer Success, the Application Engineer acts as a technical expert for the digital solutions made of software and hardware.

Uses her/his knowledge and expertise to provide proactive and reactive support to the customer from the solution onboarding towards adoption, expansion, and renewal.

Verifies the continuous operation of the solution and ensures the customer uses it successfully.

The position has a global impact across all countries where customers are based.

You will be responsible for: Building and maintaining a detailed understanding of:The digital solutionsThe applications that solutions are deployed intoRelevant Grundfos components and pumps the digital solutions work along withOnce the digital subscription is signed:Support the customer in the solution configurationProvide technical insights on the customer pain pointsPartner with water utility stakeholders to optimize their operationsInvolvement during the entire execution (customer success journey stages identified as ONBOARDING, ADOPT, EXPAND, RENEW)Collaborating with internal stakeholders:Part of the customer success teamOther digital and commercial teamsEnsuring software value delivery:Realization of the overall customer success for several active deployments subscribed by medium to large water utilitiesBeing a software coach for the customer:Leading technical meetings and discussions with water utility stakeholdersBeing comfortable in putting hands on the softwareRelentlessly pursuing:Expansion and renewal of the subscriptions, keeping churn rate at 0Cross-selling other solutions to meet customer needsSupporting sales:Reviewing customer specifications or requirements and addressing them (also in case of tenders)Contributing to process continuous design and improvement:Proposing and creating documentation, tools, scripts, etc. , needed to enhance the execution of the activities mentionedUltimately, building a trustworthy partnership with the customers:Identifying champions and advocatesGenerating success storiesCreating a community of digital usersWhat do you need to apply? Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, hydraulic, mechanical, or electronic preferredExperience as an application specialist/engineer or other technical roles in the water utility businessKnowledge of water networks, remote control systems, and pump basicsAmbition to drive technology and digital transformation programs for external customersFluent in English verbal and written; in addition to being fluent in the local market language; third language is a plusAction-oriented with a proactive approach, motivated to produce high-quality results, capable of working in a team, and ability to manage multiple projects Why Grundfos?
