Envolve Consulting, an independent company active in management search, is seeking an Application Engineer for an international company operating in the plastic sector.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities Provide deep technical engineering expertise to internal resources and customers from product specification, design, installation, replacement/repair, and problem resolution resulting in best-in-class customer experience within assigned Industry Segment(s).

Train, support, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Care Operations, and Marketing in identifying customer needs and innovative solutions fulfilling technical and application-related specifications considering sustainable total cost of ownership.

Support the Customer Care team in order loading and in particular, configuring the non-standard orders.

Attain and maintain deep industry knowledge of belting/conveying solutions, products & services, and customer applications in assigned industry segments.

Support and provide application engineering training for internal resources and customers.

Leverage all available systems (CRM, ERP, Intranet, etc. )

to capture, track, and manage customer issues, commercial activities, and problem resolution.

Maintain knowledge of internal products, services, updates, and stay informed about competing products and services.

Work with Operations (fabrication & assembly) to identify and resolve any customer-related challenges and/or sales opportunities.

Education and Experience Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering of Plastic Materials or equivalent.

Minimum experience in an after-sales service or technical assistance.
