Offer Description Precision livestock technologies are currently considered the most effective to ensure real monitoring of animal welfare on farms.
The research program in question aims to monitor animal welfare by monitoring the hormone cortisol, universally recognized as one of the main parameters for assessing the state of animal welfare.
In particular, the aim is to measure cortisol levels in the milk matrix, in order to develop predictive models using infrared technology and artificial intelligence.
The interview will ascertain the level of knowledge that the candidate possesses regarding the characteristics of the scientific disciplinary sector 07/AGRI-09/C – Animal husbandry - (formerly AGR/19 – Animal husbandry) and, in particular, breeding techniques and the application of precision zootechnics for monitoring animal welfare.
