The Opportunity As a Application Service Manager for our Payment Platform & Product Efficiency you will join our dynamic and dedicated Payments Acceptance Management team in Rome to ensure the compliance and alignment of our products and solutions with our terminal management platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and guaranteeing the alignment of the terminal platform with the business needs and mandates of the Payment Schemes.
This role is central to the core business of the company, as all projects and deliveries will go through you in terms of testing, evaluation, functionality, and day-to-day operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Check the compliance of the products/solutions with the terminal management platform; supervise and guarantee the alignment of the terminal platform with the business needs and mandates of the payment schemes; govern and supervise the set-up of profiles and capabilities for the terminals; guarantee the correct alignment of exchange batch files between internal information systems and the platform; collect needs related to new features and customizations in order to align the platform; manage and supervise the market place for so-called smart terminals based on Android operating systems; handle all projects and deliveries in terms of testing, evaluation, functionality and fine-tuning; determine whether issues, if any, are related to terminal entry points or authorizing systems, and direct to appropriate technical team; be the SPOC with the external provider.

In practice this means: Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role within the Payment Industry Strong knowledge of the EMV protocol, International and domestic Scheme regulations Advanced technical knowledge of POS terminals and card-based payment systems, as well as Terminal Management Systems Knowledge of e-commerce systems and Digital payments based on wallets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Fluent in both Italian and English At Worldline you'll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
