The RoleAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Application Services Consult Leader to drive the growth of our Application Services consult practice in Italy. Key Responsibilities1.

Business Development & GrowthLead the development and expansion of the Application Services consult business across Italy country, driving signings and market share. Identify, design, and develop or modernize digital solutions tailored to address customer needs and maximize delivered value. Collaborate with Consult Leaders and account teams to develop winning strategies for customers and new market opportunities. 2.

Partner Ecosystem ManagementBuild and foster strong relationships with key technology and system integration partners to position effectively in the Digital Services ecosystem, organize joint GTM activities on new opportunities, deliver scalable, innovative solutions and ensure IT Operations excellence. 3.

Customer EngagementAct as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their strategic objectives and driving impactful Digital transformation and IT Optimization strategies. Present to C-suite executives and stakeholders, articulating the value of Digital Transformation and IT Operations Excellence to enable business objectives. Ensure successful delivery of Digital Transformation projects and deployment and continuous improvement of Application Management Services. 4.

Practice LeadershipShape the Application Services consult practice vision, strategy, and roadmap for Italian market, working closely with global teams and Italian Customer Accounts. Build and lead high-performing Application Development & Management teams to develop and manage Customer complex Application Architectures including custom,  software or package-based solutions. Accountable for delivering highly complex, Application Development projects and Management Services that to fully achieve customer needs in terms of service quality, flexibility and time-to-delivery. Work with practice leaders and partners to develop Application Delivery Units to be leveraged to increase market share and positioning in the Digital domain. Drive internal initiatives to foster innovation, enhance delivery capabilities, and promote continuous learning. 5.

Thought LeadershipRepresent Kyndryl at industry events, conferences, and forums, showcasing expertise in Application Services domain. Contribute to content creation, such as whitepapers and webinars, to establish Kyndryl as a leader in the field. Required Skills & Experience3-5 years or more leading Application Services practices on business development and delivery10-15 years of experience on Application Services10-15 years of experience in application development and deployment10+ years in application migration and modernization5+ years in application architecture, middleware and data experienceProven track record of successfully delivering large scale application development projects and managed servicesDemonstrated ability to craft and articulate customer-centric value propositions and business cases. Multi-year experience in managing partner ecosystems and leveraging partnerships to drive innovation and growth. Deep knowledge of various application domains and technologies, on different industriesStrong technical acumen & deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and Enterprise Cloud IntegrationStrong ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teamsStrong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on developing talent and fostering collaboration. Deep experience working with C-suite stakeholders and presenting complex solutions in business terms. Extensive market knowledge of Italy business landscape and network. Preferred Skills and ExperienceExtensive experience on cloud/legacy opensource and package application implementationExpertise in cloud platforms (e. g. , Azure, AWS, GCP) and their integration capabilitiesExperience in using and implementing DevSecOps processesExperience with consulting methodologies, frameworks, and delivery models.
