We are looking for an Application Support & Asset Manager to join our pool of experts, reporting and interacting directly to the product manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our stock and hardware assets to ensure efficient operations and support the organization's goals.
He/she will be supported by several communities of practice that will provide help when needed.
Together with the team of analysts, and developers he/she will ensure the operation and improvement of the process flows which are key for the business of the different entities belonging to the MSC-Group.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: This involves maintaining an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all stock and hardware assets.
The asset manager ensures that all items are properly documented, categorized, and tracked throughout their lifecycle. Maintenance and Repairs: Regular maintenance and timely repairs are crucial to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of hardware assets.
The asset manager schedules and oversees maintenance activities, coordinates with service providers, and ensures that all repairs are documented. Asset Tracking and Monitoring: Utilizing asset management systems to track the location, status, and usage of hardware assets.
This helps in preventing loss, theft, and unauthorized use of assets. Disposal and Replacement: When assets reach the end of their useful life, the asset manager is responsible for their proper disposal or replacement.
This includes following environmental regulations and company policies for asset disposal. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks associated with stock and hardware assets, such as obsolescence, damage, or security vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks. Reporting and Documentation: Preparing detailed reports on asset status, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
This information is used for decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Functional support activities for the different applications used by the business. Daily support via Service Now. Handle incidents with the necessary priority. Discuss with stakeholders within IT. Perform root cause analysis and report for change or improvement if needed. Participate in a stand-by-system to guarantee the operational stability of the business. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in asset management, inventory management, or a similar role. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in asset management software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Analytical thinking skills. Good insight; can make the distinction between main and subsidiary issues. Customer focused & result driven. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
