Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Work closely with customers and distributors to understand their needs and challenges and provide technical support and guidance on the use of IFF cultures and enzymes in cheese production.

- Conduct trials, demonstrations, and trainings at customer sites or IFF facilities, and evaluate the performance and quality of cheese products.

- Provide feedback and recommendations to customers and distributors on how to optimize their cheese processes and formulations and troubleshoot any issues or complaints.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the cheese industry, and position IFF as a trusted partner and solution provider.

- Monitor and communicate market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and new opportunities for IFF products and solutions in the cheese segment.

- Participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars, and other events to promote IFF's cheese capabilities and offerings.

- Travel throughout Italy and occasionally to other locations in Europe to visit customers and distributors, and support IFF's cheese business.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in food science, dairy science, biotechnology, or related field.

- Expertise in the use of cultures and enzymes in cheese production, and familiarity with IFF's portfolio of dairy solutions.

- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in Italian and English.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.

- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, and adapt to different cultures and environments.
