To strengthen our European Applications team, we are looking for a Scientific Expert to support our Microfluidics and molecular biology solutions.

As an Applications Specialist you will be part of a team of specialists supporting the sales account managers and customers across South Europe (France, Italy, Spain).

**Main responsibilities**:

Participate in product demonstrations, tradeshows and exhibitions in the field of microfluidics

Provide information and consultation about our solutions, to internal and external customers

Manage geographic territory with regard to sales support activities, including:

- Generate product interest and awareness

- Perform qualification visits

- Analyze customer samples in our in-house Applied Genomics Training Facility

- Interpret and present results back to customers

- Troubleshooting

- Training and follow up

Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external customers.

**Your profile**:

- Master or PhD degree in the field of biotechnology or molecular biology or relevant working experience

- Individual must have expertise in molecular biology or genomics including assay design, development and troubleshooting.

- Energetic, results-driven with excellent organizational and prioritization skills

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to think strategically, articulate a shared vision and defend strategic insights

- Fluent English (spoken and written) required - Second language (French, Italian, Spanish) would be an advantage

- Thorough knowledge in MS Office suite

- Willingness for travel - Home office based
