Job DescriptionDXC Technology Italy is looking for a Technical Leader to join our Application Service DXC Team. ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops, executes business and technical software solutions in order to implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions). Understands and uses appropriate solutions/tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. Interacts with client-facing colleagues (Business Analyst and Project Manager) to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Leads a small team, providing mentoring and guidance to less senior developers by working with them in designing solutions. Education And SkillsBachelor or Master Degree (Nice to have technical field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.

). Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, Cloud-based applications, and Microservices architecture and patterns. Strong technical experience writing code using languages: Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot, . . . ), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, Design patterns and architecture design, and Database SQL and NoSQL. Familiarity with software development processes (Agile, Waterfall), DevOps. Ability to work with web-development tools for new applications. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies. The ideal profile has strong analytical skills, problem-solving, focus on results, decision-making skills, and the ability to work in teams. Location: Bari with remote work possibility.
