**About you

In this role, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:

- Maintain inventories of consumable materials, chemicals, and supplies related to activities by anticipating usage rates, order lead times, and ordering/purchasing procedures.

- Closely communicate with the technology leader or lead scientists to enable or accelerate problem resolution.

- Participate in work group team meetings to address safety, task & job planning, process improvement, problem solving, and other relevant topics.

- Understand and follow appropriate EH&S standards; lead by example in the area of safety behaviors by promoting safe work habits.

As part of the Fabrication and testing lab, you will need to:

- Run lab and industrial scale trials on the Laminating machines, to produce laminates to be tested.

- Manage and safely perform laboratory activities, maintain and run relevant testing equipment including dynamometer, heat sealer, autoclave, FT-IR.

- Prepare and conduct standard and some non-routine procedures using relevant equipment and instruments, for which activities may include sample or materials preparations, equipment setup and/or configurations, and proper handling and disposal of waste materials.

- Carefully record readings and observations using relevant equipment and instruments.

- You are responsible for calibration, safe operation, and routine maintenance of the equipment that are in your expertise area.

You will also collaborate to troubleshoot faulty equipment effects repairs or initiate repair processes as appropriate.

**Required qualifications

- High school Diploma in Chemistry, Mechanics or Robotics (Perito Chimico), or maximum a B. Sc.

in the same disciplines.

- You are an excellent communicator!

English (basic) and Italian are required.

- Film physical testing experience and/or mechanical/electrical and/or lamination technology background or experience are a plus.

- Knowledge of Robotics or IT to support the digital transformation of the Laboratory.

- You are dependable and responsible; you collaborate well in a team environment, but you are also capable of working with mínimal supervision.
