Job summary
To drive Miller Knoll's collective of brands offering to architects, design firms and construction professionals with a view to increase specification across the entire floorplate.
As a Specifier Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and nurturing relationships within the architectural and design community while promoting our company's innovative solutions.
Your ability to understand and communicate the value of our products to architects and other stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role.
Specific responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, design firms, contractors and other industry professionals.
- Engage the Specifier and Design community in meaningful and productive dialogue about insights, products and projects.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities and develop strategies to fill the sales funnel.
- Present and showcase our products and services to architects and design teams, effectively demonstrating their value proposition and benefits.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to architects during product specification and selection process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations and materials tailored to architects and design professionals.
- Involve specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities.
- Organise and deliver seminars in line with HM's Insight Group's accredited programme list at Miller Knolls associated offices, dealerships and at design firms' offices.
- Organise and participate in regular industry related conferences, trade shows and events to network, generate leads and stay updated on industry trends.
- Organise and host regular showroom visits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns and issues promptly and professionally.

Compliance; ensure compliance with business systems, processes, certification schemes, regulations and legislation relevant to the scope of your role.
Support internal quality controls and audits to demonstrate compliance.
Job holder requirements
Good level of education
Successful sales experience of at least 3 years.
Proven demonstrable track record of working with Architecture and Design community
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form to a high standard and numerate in the preparation of quotations.
Patience with an organised and methodical mind.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Must be flexible to work out of hours when required
Strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with strong work ethic
Ambitious and energetic.
Milan area based / Valid driving license
