Thales people architect and deliver satellite-based systems that help position, connect and observe our planet, and push the boundaries of our understanding of planet's resources.

Our systems are in orbit at 400 km, 20000 km, 36000 km and beyond to the edges of the solar system.

The resource will promote, propose and build advanced studies and projects on technologies enabling new imaging systems for MW/optical band remote sensing solution requirements and architectures for EO Projects/studies missions and constellations.

It helps to identify and seize new opportunities (e. g.

ASI, ESA, EDA, etc. )

concerning the EO radar family, also in the role of capture leader supporting cross-cutting cooperation between different departments and external bodies.

Technical skills, qualifications and professional experience required:

- Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, remote sensing, telecommunications engineering equivalent.

- Knowledge of EO space observation and telecommunication systems and state-of-the-art payloads, signal/data processing techniques, simulation models and tools.

- Knowledge of the rules applicable in the discipline (e. g.

ECSS, etc. )

and in system engineering (e. g.

requirements management, MBSE, etc.

).

- Knowledge and programming skills of simulation tools (Matlab, Simulink, etc.

).
