Description Our client, an architectural building components manufacturer, is seeking an Architectural Drafting Technician to join their team near Lansdale, PA.
In this role, you will provide technical support to the Engineering and Construction Services teams by developing shop and fabrication drawings, assisting with system testing, and performing material takeoffs.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, skilled in AutoCAD, and comfortable working on multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities • Address technical questions regarding panel products and systems
• Assist with internal and third-party system testing
• Develop shop drawings from architectural plans using AutoCAD
• Review shop drawings for compliance with building codes and specifications
• Create fabrication drawings using customized CNC software
• Perform material takeoffs for project quotations
• Manage fabrication projects across engineering and construction teams

Qualifications • 4+ years of creating, editing and managing AutoCAD (or similar) drawings experience required
• Experience in the architectural building products industry required
• Familiarity with architectural construction documents and drawings required
• Proficiency with computers, MS Word and Excel required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
