Architectural Sales Manager
Your Job As an Architectural Sales Manager, you will develop relationships with key stakeholders involved in projects (indirect customers such as architects, façade consultants, developers/investors and general contractors) to identify/create sales opportunities for Guardian products. You will support growing profitability by specifying improved product mix & more profitable options and leverage all the internal capabilities (such a: TAC, customer facing teams, Pricing Team, Marketing, . . . . . . ) to maximize the value creation process.
Our Team You will join a team of 10 Architectural Design Managers located in Europe plus 2 Territorial Sales Managers located in the country and report to our Regional Sales Manager. For this position you will be remotely based in the region of Lombardy, Italy.
What You Will Do Focus on projects' early stages. Collaborate with primary architects & Facade Consultants to get Guardian glass specified, through:
Understand architects' activities. Understand tender documents issued by them; Provide support and valuable advice (on Guardian proposed products, applications and innovations); Collect information to qualify project scope, quantity. Anticipate project's glass sourcing value chain; Specify details of required glass in collaboration with TAC & architects. Deliver samples swiftly, support on specifications (through all value chain players to deliver full façade solutions); Ensure timely communication to architects from the early stages of projects and provide continuous feedback throughout the project. Cultivate service capabilities and product range knowledge; Finalize specifications and drawings of each aspect of the project, resulting in final design ready for bidding; Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Fluent in English and bilingual/native in Italian. Knowledge of the different tools & technologies used in the business environment (such as: Salesforce, Power BI, office, BIM, AutoCAD, . . . ) Basic understanding of the negotiation process and preferred outcomes, you are familiar with different negotiation models and processes; Able to evaluate the costs and benefits of a product using a variety of analytic approaches (e. g. , cost-benefit analysis) to identify comparable competitor products You have the ability to independently partner with our customers, build relationships and leverage customer insights to identify opportunities, prioritize relevant products based on understanding of the market, industry and legislative/compliance conditions.
