As an Area Manager, you'll ensure your site is running as smoothly as it should to meet customer demand. You will lead a team that helps keep our operations safe, efficient, and of high quality while taking on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesCreate, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing. Analyze and implement changes to maintain quality and productivity at a consistently high level. Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility. Analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence. Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices. A Day in the LifeYou'll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You'll oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. A typical day is varied, including routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You'll also serve as a role model and mentor to new managers.

Basic QualificationsA degree. Relevant experience in people management. Relevant experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership. Relevant experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language. Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques. Experience working in another logistics environment.
