Our colleagues in the** Sales team **are looking for a new **Area Manager **for **Central & South Italy.
**Role Purpose**:
The Area Manager (AM) leads a team of people for Central & South Italy, covering different channels (mainly retail, but also a representative number of Discount, C&C and AFH points of sale) with the ultimate aim of supporting, through specific actions, the growth of the sell-out, ensuring excellent in-store execution, the achievement of the sell out and the KPI targets.
In addition, the Manager provides constant training to the people on his team and creates the basis for the best future talents and emerging talents of Kellogg Company.
**HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Contributes, together with the Field Sales Force and Operational Lead, to the definition of the annual In-Store sales strategy.
- Coordinates and supervises the FSR activities and the coverage of the territory according to the annual objectives (call rate, days of activity) and the effective coverage of the point of sale assigned, also guaranteeing adequate compliance with Kellogg's policies and values.
- Is responsible for driving and achieving the quantitative and qualitative sales goals assigned for his team
- Supervises the appropriate use of Kasper and ensures the efficient use of the tool by his team, coordinating the measurement and tracking of all sell-out KPI connected to the tool, also providing periodic reports linked to Kasper KPI
- Makes all the needed back-office activities for constantly updating the tool.
- Coordinates the use and stock of the pop material by collaborating with the Activation Team
- Schedules periodic shadowing (2-3 times a week) of the Kellogg sales force to strengthen their growth, doing constant training in the field, ensuring excellent in-store execution according to Kellogg's guidelines
- Constantly supports the team in using the tools and the program (e. g. , Metrascan, Space Planning, Yammer, AFO) useful for carrying out their work
- Supervises and sponsors the appropriate use of Yammer
- Plans and guides the introduction of new FSR colleagues and supervises their subsequent implementation in the field.
- Manages the variation of the various POS maps according to new needs (e. g. , seasonality) and new potentialities
- Is directly involved in the team's recruiting process and is also responsible for his professional growth, also collaborating with Human Resources.
- Elaborates constant analysis of sell-out KPI (e. g. , IRI, Nielsen), monitors the competition and all the important evidence that occurs in the field for its area / single territories in order to give advice to support business growth
- Actively contributes to some specific projects and activities delegated by his manager in order to participate to the company's sales operational process and strategy implementation
**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- At least 3-5 years' experience in sales activities of the retail channel in FMCG multinational contest.
- Technical Skills: negotiation & selling, analysis and synthesis, planning ability, good IT and Office skills, very good knowledge of analytical tools (e. g. , IRI, Nielsen).
- Good knowledge of categories, brand strategies, consumer and shopper behaviour in the FMCG channels
- Leadership and people manager skills in order to inspire, motivate and lead a team, excellent communication skills, proactive and initiative-taking, a good team worker
- Fluent in local language and English; university degree preferably in Economics or similar; driving licence and availability for frequent business trip on his area.
