Area Manager Hematology - Campania E Puglia
Responsible for driving the sales operations plan and for achieving agreed sales and broader performance targets for their part of the organization/specific product in the specialty area.
Develop an effective sales team through training and coaching or management of key commercial activities.
Brings specialist knowledge in the required therapeutic area.
**Major Accountabilities**:
- Accountable for achieving own and team's agreed sales, productivity and performance targets.
Creates and executes business plans to drive this achievement and is responsible for brands' strategic and tactical planning in line with company strategy and standards.
- Set reasonable sales goals to be met by the sales team, monitor performance, and motivate colleagues to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Analyze financial and market results / trends by anticipating local business opportunities, managing issues and offering solutions to consumer needs with a sense of urgency.
- Coordinate of local insights in order to define local needs and accountable for the implementation of local and tactical projects develop action plan in collaboration with local and national cross functional team
- Proactive member of the Regional Board with the accountability to identify and share needs, priorities and opportunities, strategic at regional level and active part in the development of the action plan
- Coordinate the local cross functional team by promoting clear, timely and unique communication (internal and external) and serves as a communication bridge from Senior Management to Product Specialists.
- Manages and optimizes effective allocation of resources to deliver required business results.
Manages area sales and expense budgets.
- Leads a high-performing team of Product Specialists; hires, trains and develops them as necessary; provides coaching and feedback to the team.
- Manages relationships with Key accounts' decision makers, Medical Experts and other colleagues across business functions to achieve desired results.
- Master product knowledge and disease area knowledge; and coach the team on the same.
Gathers and is updated on required information regarding the market, key competitors' market data, pricing intelligence, key accounts etc.

**Minimum requirements
**What you'll bring to the role**:
- Scientific or Economics background with knowledge and experience of health products
- Good English knowledge.
Fluent Italian.
- +5 years' experience in Sales within the Pharmaceutical industry
- People management experience will be considered an asset.
- Experience and successful track record in sales of a pharmaceutical product
- Previous experience in sales/management of competitive brands/ product launches
- Previous experience in coordinating and leading cross-functional working groups
- Preferred residence in Campania or Puglia regions
