Area Manager (Italy)
Key responsibilities:
managing and supervising business development and sales processes, brand building in the subordinate market in cooperation with the Regional Sales Director; co-designing sales strategies, and developing the company's sales network; managing and supervising tender processes in Italy and participating in technical dialogues in close cooperation with the Tender Office team; achieving the planned sales targets at the level set by the Regional Director and supervising the performance of the subordinate team; building positive relations and negotiations with key customers; participation in industry events - trade fairs, conferences, webinars; analysis of the sales market, competition analysis, monitoring of activities, and close cooperation with the interdisciplinary implementation team; improvement of own competencies and those of the subordinate team; representation of the organization during external and internal audits; creation of reports, analyses, and reports on sales processes for the Sales Regional Director from the subordinate area; support the Regional Sales Director in the development and implementation of the organization's budget in the part concerning the functioning of the sales area and the development of business in the Italian market; build a team capable of providing a comprehensive service to the subordinate market in terms of sales; organizing and supervising the duties of the subordinate team, substantive support, moderating the activity, and motivating the employees; reporting to the Regional Sales Director. Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's or master's degree (preferably in engineering); several years of professional experience in a similar position and a proven track record in sales/business development; native Italian (C2) and fluent in English (C1); having an in-depth understanding of the Italian market and the e-mobility sector; cross-organisational understanding of business; ability to work in the international environment; availability for business trips is required; you are ambitious, hard-working and results-oriented; experience in building and managing a team is a must; strategic mindset and a passion for development.
