You will be responsible for the overall management of the sector Italy and Monaco, employee, merchandise and customer service. You will be also responsible for achieving sales targets for the sector concerned, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and objectives, building highly motivated teams and developing staff.

Sales

- Plan and develop a global sales and marketing strategy and execute the sales plan to achieve company objectives;

- Explore regional market by identifying new business opportunities and sales channels with effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets, company growth and increase brand visibility;

- Achieve sales targets for responsible stores;

- Analyze available sales reports and data to determine business needs and establish sales strategies;

- Set targets for store managers, ensuring that they reflect the store's commercial objectives;

- Support the development of associates' sales techniques, ensuring high levels of sales and service are used to maximize sales;

- Demonstrate sales leadership to staff by playing an active role on the sales floor.

Operations

- Search for suitable locations for new retail stores or sales channels in the PRC;

- Ensure the maintenance, presentation and organization of the premises;

- Ensure that deliveries are processed correctly and on time;

- Respect inventory accuracy and reduction requirements;

- Support, promote and take responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management and store communication;

- Establish and maintain good communication with head office and other stores.

Visual Merchandising

- Implement and maintain all merchandising guidelines and ensure the execution of effective merchandising strategies in all stores;

- Work in partnership with logistics, merchandising teams and supervisor to ensure appropriate store assortment;

- Ensure that the sales area of all responsible stores is clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all times;

- Ensure that the presentation of all displays, accessories and visual areas reflect current visual orientation;

- Identify and communicate product issues in a timely manner;

- Communicate inventory requirements to support business objective.

Human resources

- Recruit, train and develop staff, ensuring that all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified personnel;

- Optimize team performance by understanding their strengths and weaknesses, while developing and improving their technical skills and core competencies;

- Continuously monitor and evaluate staff performance, provide ongoing feedback with development plans to ensure results, and identify potential staff for career development;

- Support, implement and monitor all training programs, seminars, etc;

- Ensure that the entire team complies with standard operating procedures and codes of conduct;

- Guide the team in line with the company's KPI objective, with ambitious but achievable company performance targets;

- Resolve all HR issues quickly and efficiently, in partnership with HR where necessary;

- Guarantee the integrity of payroll and the payroll process;

- Ensure that image and maintenance standards are professional, reflect the brand image and are adhered to at all times.

You have solid experience as an Area Manager

You have experience in luxury/fashion retail and visual merchandising

You are fluent in English

You know how to analyse sales reports and react quickly

You have strong communication and organisational skills

Flexible working hours (evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
