Area Program Manager - Keller
Clayton Youth Enrichment is currently recruiting for an Area Program Manager.
Clayton Youth Enrichment is Tarrant County's largest, on-site, youth enrichment provider.
The non-profit agency serves 7, 000+ children and families annually through its after school and other out-of-school time enrichment programs.
Clayton is a before and after school youth enrichment program.
We serve over 80 locations in the Fort Worth, Crowley, Keller, and Birdville ISD.

The primary purpose of the Area Program Manager is to plan, organize, coordinate and oversee the long range and day-to-day operations of 5-8 afterschool programs within the greater Fort Worth area.
The Area Program Manager will develop and implement program services at elementary school sites in accordance with both agency, state, and school district guidelines.
The position will ensure a variety of educational and recreational activities that stimulate the development of youth while striving for academic gains, administrative compliance, and social-emotional learning competencies.
**GENERAL DUTIES**:
- Provide leadership to assigned program sites through coaching, program oversight and administrative management.
The position will be responsible for 5-8 school-based programs located in the greater Fort Worth area, to be determined.
- Learn, model and promote social-emotional learning skills.
- Articulate the Clayton Youth Enrichment Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Attend all required trainings and meetings.
**STAFF MANAGEMENT**:
- Manage assigned Site Coordinators and program staff as required, supervising up to approx.
20 staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing for assigned programs; responsible for the hiring/retaining of quality staff.
- Assess personnel performance and develop professional training to address gaps.
- Promote high expectation levels with corresponding recognition for excellence and achievement.
**PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT**:
- Work to continually improve program based on evaluations, feedback and site observations.
- Develop and implement marketing & recruiting strategies along with appropriate communication goals and objectives for all programs.
- Provide students in assigned service area a broad array of afterschool programs, activities and services to build youth development skills and complement the regular school day.
- Serve as a liaison between school administrators, site staff, and Clayton office.
- Respond to concerns of participating campus administrators and parents; mediate and facilitate effective resolution of conflicts in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that Clayton's Social Emotional Learning efforts are fulfilled at the program site level, and that curriculum and daily schedule components are being maintained
**ADMINISTRATIVE**:
- Ensure programs meet all regulations and requirements of governing agencies.
- Help develop effective procedures and policies to ensure a productive program.
- Help establish and monitor each program budget; abide by spending guidelines.
- Prepare and provide reports as required, and maintain regular data collection.
- Monitor and ensure all Clayton compliance documentation is met.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Strong communication, public relations and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of computer proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Maintain annual training requirements as mandated.
- General knowledge of assigned local school district a plus.
- Successful completion of TXDSHS background check.
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**:
- Must be at least 21 years of age; At least 4 years of experience in a similar setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in education, recreation, child development or related field required.
- Supervisory experience of small to medium teams, as well as multi-program management.
- Experience in fiscal/budget management, data reporting, and management information systems.
- Demonstrated competence in program development, marketing, implementation, and evaluation.
- Working knowledge of local youth service organizations and population to be served.
- Must be able to fulfill TXDSHS requirements for licensed childcare director, as necessary.
