Area Sales Manager
Location: VIGNATE, IT, 20060- Req ID: 5704**SUMMARY OF ROLE
**FOCUS**: Management of sales and interaction with existing customers in assigned regions, research and development activities of new business areas in order to determine strategies and actions to acquire new customers.
In the position of **Sales Area Manager - Garo** you will be focusing on development and execution of sales activities in your assigned area of responsibility, reporting directly to the Sales&Marketing Director having direct interaction with customers, and supporting the available and relevant sales channels
Active presence in front of the customer to present and negotiate commercial and technical proposals is also required for the role.
**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Pursue sales opportunities from customer understanding, creation of business opportunity, through customer buy-in and proposal preparation, to signed contract while ensuring required profitability;
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationship with the focus on sales revenue growth and customer satisfaction;
- Develop the market you will be responsible for in line with company sales strategy, to maximize sales performance, protect and grow market share as per the area and the Line of Business plans;
- Implement sales initiatives and focus on fulfilment of the sales plan;
- Provide information required for reporting like sales forecast and budget process used in organization;
- Contribute to the definition of the company sales strategy and be active part in its execution;
- Cooperate and interact with the other company functions to achieve full customer satisfaction;
- Drive for continuous improvement: develop and monitor relevant KPIs and engage appropriate initiatives.
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSABILITIES
- Promote a positive Company image;
- Provide leadership to continuously improve a Customer-focused culture within the team;
- Travel: 30%+
**Required Qualifications And Experience
- Preferred Engineering degree with relevant sales experience;
- Solid experience in sales environment for OIL&GAS products;
- Strong technical education supported by commercial experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in Italian and English languages;

- Advanced sales and analytic skills;
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, having the courage and conviction to follow through on assignments;

- Understanding of multi-cultural environment and rules of matrix organisation.
