Our client is an international company in the cable and wire industry that is developing its business in the Italian market.

We are searching for a:

Sales EngineerReporting to the South Europe Sales Director, he/she will identify and realize new opportunities/projects at the existing customer base but also identify new potential customers in North Italy, working closely with the Engineering Organization.

Main responsibilities Analyze the existing customers in different markets (Industry, Defense, Medical, etc.

)Identify new opportunities and drive the project through the Engineering OrganizationDefine and develop an account/territory strategy/plansPlan the territory budget, set up and follow up on business resultsStay in permanent direct contact (visits, email, phone) with the customer to ensure ongoing support and communicationLiaise closely with multiple functions to ensure supporting services and project realization for the customerCoordinate with internal disciplines to serve the customer on time in terms of quotations, quality complaints, logistics, technical information, etc. Engage and drive the organization to support and respond in the timeframe and at the quality level expected (logistics, quality)Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical/electromechanical engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in a similar industry (cables, wires, connectivity solutions, mechanical/electrical components, etc.

)Good sales skills and a new business hunting mindsetStrong project management skillsSelf-motivated and highly organizedAble to work effectively remotely with a high level of customer visits within the territoryKnowledge of the cable and wire industry and technology is desirableFluent English is a must; French in addition will be highly appreciatedLocation: home office North Italy (preferably Milan)
