Primary function of the role is to foster relationships with existing wholesale/cash & carry accounts and drive brand awareness and retail sales through those accounts.
Grow the territory by developing current accounts, educating the retailer network on the IVG brand and portfolio to close and transfer profitable sales through those accounts by attending trade days and servicing the wholesale network.
**Reporting to** **:Country Sales Manager
**Main duties**:
- Work with the Country Manager and assist with the creation of full annual commercial budgets and sales forecasting.
- Have a good understanding of the market, competitors, pricing, distribution and regulations, to allow you to plan how IVG brands become the leaders in the territory category.
- Communicate effectively with the Country Sales Manager to report on any and all changes with the vape market/trends.
- Assist with the demand plan by giving on-going revenue/volume projections to facilitate the supply planning.
- Be the best possible 'face' of the company.
- Liaise with your line manager to manage, develop and grow accounts in your allocated territory.
- Report any potential business opportunities.
- Understand the market and product range, training/educating customers and the market, and reinforcing our expert status.
- Communicate constructively with your business unit team to support the marketing and product initiatives and to meet deadlines for territory launches and new opportunities.
- Follow the scheduled journey plans and prioritise time management to suit the allocated territory and optimize sales opportunities.
- Provide timely daily/weekly reports as requested.
- Manage expenses within guidelines.
- Attend relevant industry exhibitions to sell, network and promote the brands.
- Take responsibility for company stock and property.
- Ambassador for company values and customer service excellence whilst following standards for professionalism, best practice and compliance.
**Role Requirements**:
- 2 years' experience, working in a field sales role
- Live in the assigned territory having good verbal and written communication skills (Both English & Italian)
- Proven ability to work on own initiative
- Confident, professional and approachable style, bringing energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
- Good networker and personable
- Ability to work independently, and tactically run your territories.
- Pro-active, detailed approach to tasks
- Strong team player
- Ability to travel within your territory
- Driving licence
