**YOUR MISSION
As Area Sales Manager GDO for Central Italy at at Glovo Italy, you will assume a pivotal role in steering our expansion within the grocery sector, particularly focusing on Grcoery/GDO sector.
You will spearhead efforts to secure comprehensive partnerships with top grocery chains, driving the growth of Quick Commerce in your regions.
This senior position requires a strategic approach to building and maintaining high-level relationships, as well as collaborating with the wider Glovo team towards our business objectives.
**THE JOURNEY
- Negotiate and close master agreements with the headquarters of top grocery chains, ensuring Glovo's strategic positioning as leading player in the Quick Commerce space.
- Activate and onboard the complete network of stores under each master agreement, ensuring a unified and efficient rollout.
- Establish and nurture C-Level relationships, representing Glovo at key industry events and fostering partnerships that align with our strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team Leader and Account Managers to strategize and implement initiatives that drive the growth of Quick Commerce in Italy.
- Proactively work with key departments within Glovo, including Legal, Finance, Public Affairs, and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to our business development efforts.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- A proven track record in sales/key account management, with extensive experience negotiating and closing high-stakes agreements with major chains in the GDO sector.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging and influencing C-Level executives and fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
- A strategic mindset, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactivity, and problem-solving prowess, demonstrating a commitment to overcoming obstacles and achieving sales targets.
- Adaptability and flexibility, with the skill to manage priorities in a rapidly evolving business landscape, ensuring that Glovo remains at the forefront of the Quick Commerce sector.
