Area Sales Manager International
Job Title: Area Sales Manager (International) Location: Italy Overview: The Area Sales Manager (International) role focuses on increasing sales and building strong customer relationships to strengthen BLM Group's global presence. Significant sales and technical experience in industrial companies leading in Machine Automation, Machine Tooling, investment goods, or B2B technical products is essential. Work Environment: The role requires frequent travel abroad; in Italy, work locations will be in Cantù (CO) or Levico Terme (TN) at the Group's main offices. Main Responsibilities: Develop and consolidate the presence of BLM Group in the world market. Ensure customer satisfaction, aligning customer success with BLM Group's success. Stimulate Product Development by investigating customer and market needs and communicating with internal departments. Manage internal and external sales networks. Main Activities: Plan and manage sales areas (assigned territories) to map and track customer presence. Collect and analyze customer and market needs, sharing insights with Sales and Service Management. Define annual budgets and conduct quarterly reviews in collaboration with the Sales Department. Implement strategies to finalize sales, collaborating with Marketing and Communication. Organize customer visits based on targets, priorities, and ongoing negotiations. Supervise the release of offers and define sales contracts. Manage and develop the sales network through recruiting and organizing training activities. Must Have: Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales and/or Technical Service at industrial companies in the B2B sector. Technical (engineering) or scientific (physics, computer science) qualifications. Good command of Italian and English (B2/C1 level of European classification). Professional knowledge of a second foreign language (French or Spanish). Aptitude for Sales Negotiation. Good interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and effective communication. Positive attitude, marked by energy and resilience. Availability for frequent travel outside of Italy (2-3 weeks per month; approximately 70% of annual work is travel-related). Proficiency in software and platforms integrated with sales process and customer management. Nice to Have: Previous experience in foreign commercial roles.
