This position reports toSales ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market area and maintain it, in order to improve B&R's market penetration and achieve growth aspirations.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities and coordinating a team including technical, sales and back-office staff.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the sales of components for automatic machines, excellent leadership skills and a proactive approach to direct sales of industrial automation components and solutions. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to Machine Automation within Robotics & Discrete Automation, B&R Automation in Padova. You will be mainly accountable for: • Participating in discussions on the sales strategy for the assigned area, agreeing on short- and long-term objectives, and creating the division's sales plans by area, in coordination with the Italian sales manager • Developing, managing and participating in direct and proactive sales activities of industrial automation components and solutions, identifying new business opportunities and liaising directly with customers • Managing and supervising the work team consisting of technicians, salespeople and back office, ensuring the achievement of company objectives by monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers of existing and potential customers.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive working environment, fostering collaboration and professional development of the team, ensuring integrity and adherence to the group's values in all its activities • Supporting in budgeting and monitoring the office's operational costs.
• Supervising of administrative and logistical practices related to the operation of the office.
Qualifications for the role You have at least 2 years of experience in management roles in companies in the industrial automation sector or sales of components for automatic machines.
Proven experience in managing teams composed of technical and commercial personnel.
Possess solid sales skills (minimum 5 years' experience), and excellent knowledge of the market for automatic machine components.
You have planning and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You have a strong orientation towards results and business growth.
Advanced use of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and preferably experience with ERP management software.
