Our client is an international company in the cable and wire industry that is developing its business in the Italian market.
We are searching for a candidate who will report to the South Europe Sales Director.
The candidate will identify and realize new opportunities/projects within the existing customer base and also identify new potential customers in North Italy, working closely with the Engineering Organization.
Main Responsibilities: Analyze the existing customers in different markets (Industry, Defense, Medical, etc.
)Identify new opportunities and drive the project through the Engineering OrganizationDefine and develop an account/territory strategy/plansPlan the territory budget, set up and follow up on business resultsStay in permanent direct contact (visits, email, phone) with the customer to ensure ongoing support and communicationLiaise closely with multiple functions to ensure supporting services and project realization for the customerCoordinate with internal disciplines to serve the customer on time in terms of quotations, quality complaints, logistics, technical information, etc. Engage and drive the organization to support and respond in the timeframe and at the quality level expected (logistics, quality)Requirements: We are looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree in electrical/electromechanical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in a similar industry (cables, wires, connectivity solutions, mechanical/electrical components, etc.
).
Good sales skills and a new business hunting mindset are necessary, as well as strong project management skills.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is highly organized and able to work effectively remotely with a high level of customer visits within the territory.
Knowledge of the cable and wire industry and technology is desirable.
Fluent English is a must.
French in addition will be highly appreciated.
Location: Home office North Italy (preferably Milan)
