Area Sales Representative Italy
To strengthen the sales team of Unilin Panels, we are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Area Sales Representative, responsible for the North of Italy. Unilin Panels is the reference in wooden board material for both the construction and interior sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability, design and innovation. Its product range includes chipboard, MDF, decorative panels and mezzanine floors. As Area Sales Representative you will promote and sell all our Unilin Panel products. You do this by combining both external and internal sales tasks (50/50) for your customers.
Your responsibilities:
- You will develop and expand our existing business in Italy and explore new sales opportunities in different segments (Trade and Industry) for our complete product portfolio, but primarily MDF.
- You continuously look for partners, give them a clear and attractive presentation of our high quality products and novelties, mainly focussing on added-value products.
- You offer guidance and support to the local sales agents.
- As point of contact for the customers (for questions about orders, deliveries, product information, sample requests, ) you are in close contact with the calculation, production planning and logistics departments within Unilin Panels to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- You visit both existing customers and prospects and provide them with the necessary guidance, support and training for their local sales people. You build up strong professional relationships.
- By following up on market trends and evolutions, actions and market position of our competitors, you are able to analyse and understand the market.
- You handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- You report to the Country Manager Italy.
- You work from home in combination with travel days to clients and the regional office in Milan (for meetings), depending on the distance from home to the office.
**Who are you? **:
- You are based in Northern Italy, Lombardia.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in external sales (B2B), or in internal sales with a clear ambition to evolve into external sales.
- You are customer oriented, a strong relationship builder and have strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Very good understanding and talking of English.
- Know-how of panels and construction materials market is an asset.
- You are an entrepreneurial, dynamic personality full of energy, sales-driven and take initiative.
- You work independently, structured and pay attention to a correct administrative follow-up. #LI-LV3
