No Offer Description Against the backdrop of the long-standing debate on the relations and tensions between democracy, technology and technocracy, the research will pay special attention to how this debate is being reconfigured in the age of AI.

Starting from the historical-theoretical context of the protagonists and concepts behind the "digital revolution, " the research will focus, therefore, on the political effects of Silicon Valley's techno-utopia.

Subject of the investigation will be, from this perspective, the "scientific" approach to social and political problems based on technocratic expectations, social physics, the absolutization of the solving power of mathematics and science, and the myth of the perfect automation of things, phenomena and behavior.

The research will ask what, on this basis, is the political impact of AI, with a focus on the recent debate on the crisis of democracy and some case studies related to the interaction between AI and politics in different socio-political contexts.
