(url removed) PRIMARY FUNCTION:

He/She manages the industrialization of mechanical groups (Engines, Transmissions, Axles) assembly processes in all the phase of execution (technical specifications, support to equipment sourcing, codesign, equipment construction, installation and run off) consistently with the assigned project targets in term of quality, time, cost, investment. He/She provides the evaluation of technical feasibility on assembly process and investment for new product initiatives, supporting NPL requirements. He/She supports plants to define and implement project for improvement of current assembly process in term of quality, productivity, cost ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Competence Leader of Assembly process engineering team:

- He/She provides process technical studies, including assembly sequence, major tools and equipment definition, investment evaluation, PFMEA, optimizing WO, Quality.

In preliminary study phase and in the implementation, he/she involves and get contribution from the work analysis,

logistic, layout experts in order to optimize process and equipment.

He/She defines the technical specification for Purchase Request, including assembly sequence, major tools and equipment definition, with the support of the technical leader / competence leader.

He/She prepares supplier offers technical comparison.

He/SHe assures implementation of best practices in order to assure compliance of new equipment to WCM standards in term of Quality, WO, AM, PM, Safety.

- He/She guarantees technical control in the execution phases (codesign with supplier, drawings approval, equipment construction, installation, acceptance, run off and start up), keeping informed of the project status competence leader and NPL.

He/She verify machinery test at the supplier and the final test report in the Plant, preparing the equipment acceptance documents

- He/She draws up Process Fmea and control plan of assembly processes.

He/She contributes to identify and standardize "best practices" in order to optimize key processes.

He/She takes part, with Product Engineering, in simultaneous engineering activities to support product "design for process" QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language skills:

English (written and spoken)Experience (min 3 years) in mechanical processes and assembly equipment study and implementation learned in medium / high technology level manufacturing engineering department. Experience in Cad systems, 3D drawing and reading and drawing up mechanical drawings Deep knowledge of assembly production sequences and assembly process design, Investment's estimation knowledge about equipment and special purpose machines (leak test, automatic screwing station, pressing station, automation handling systems & conveyors, etc. )
