No Offer Description The research activities include the investigation of the molecular signaling networks underlying the onset and progression of malignant disease.

It will define the role of tumor-specific proteolysis of the transmembrane receptor Trop-2, a 43 kDa glycoprotein overexpressed in many tumors, which, following a proteolytic cleavage, undergoes a functional activation that stimulates carcinogenesis.

Through the definition of the three-dimensional structure of Trop-2 and the development of specific ligands, the therapeutic efficacy of innovative molecules will be evaluated in advanced in vitro cellular models, such as 3D spheroids and organoids.

Specific molecular signatures of pathological conditions will also be identified by proteomic analysis and mass spectrometry, providing new therapeutic targets for the development of next-generation drugs.

Evaluation Criteria a) Titles and scientific publications including: a PhD or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, the degree of specialization in the medical area, certificates of attendance at post-graduate courses taken abroad, as well as documented research performance at public institutions tested by means of contracts, grants, or assignments, both in Italy and abroad (60 points out of 100).

b) Interview (40 points out of 100).

Candidates who obtain less than 20/100 in the valuation of securities cannot be allowed to interview.

The proceedings will conclude with the winner and the formation of a list of suitable candidates valid for up to a maximum of one year, restricted to the specific requirements specified in the notice.
