Assistant Dining Room Manager
As an Assistant Room Dining Manager, you will assist the Dining Room Manager in ensuring efficient food and beverage (F&B) operations in the assigned outlets while maintaining productivity, quality, and guest service standards. You will interact with guests to verify that the service is following company standards, ensuring customer satisfaction daily. You will personally train, motivate, mentor, and provide regular constructive feedback to the team to help them achieve service and sales goals. You will review all revenue figures, aiming to meet sales targets and finding solutions to increase sales. Getting Things RightYou will handle the dining room reservation system, oversee the service, and take charge of opening and closing for the designated area. You will help guests with dietary needs, ensuring their diets are respected by checking the menu with the Chef. You will ensure that extra orders are accurately recorded for accounting purposes at the end of each shift. Safety FirstYou will supervise cleaning and maintenance, keeping outlets in compliance with HACCP/USPH standards and ensuring food waste is sorted properly. You will create a safe work environment and make sure your team follows safety rules and procedures. What makes you uniqueYou will have an upper secondary school diploma (preferably a hotel school diploma or equivalent) or higher. You will have at least 2 years of experience on cruise ships in a similar management position or in a high-volume restaurant (500+ seats) in 4/5-star hotels. You will be guest-focused, service-oriented, with a positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards. You will have excellent knowledge of all Public Health Policies, be a team builder with exceptional work ethic, motivational skills, and coaching abilities. You will have a good command of the English language at least at B2 level and of German/Italian languages at least at B1 level. You will have experience in leading multicultural teams; you will be flexible, stress-resistant, and a committed team player. You will be available to live traveling aboard a cruise ship for the contract period of 5 months, working 7 days a week on shifts.
