Assistant Director, Strategic Partnerships VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY Position Summary: The Assistant Director, Strategic Partnerships, under the direction of the Director, College Outreach & Partnerships, is responsible for supporting efforts to drive growth and enhance College partnerships, with a particular focus on military and government. The Assistant Director oversees a portfolio of military installations and veteran service organizations, coordinating outreach initiatives that maintain and establish relationships with the College of Professional Studies. This individual collaborates with the Office of Veterans and Military Affairs to attract additional military and veteran partners to expand the vertical. The goal of this position is to introduce Villanova's education opportunities to military and government populations, strengthen ties among partners, and ultimately grow inquiries, enrollments, and revenue through these relationships. Duties and Responsibilities: Military Engagement & Recruitment: Develop and execute comprehensive outreach programs targeting military veterans, active-duty service members, and veteran support organizations to increase the military population for all CPS Programs. Engage military installations and veteran service organizations through relationship building, site visits, webinars, presentations, and other forms of outreach. Build and maintain strong relationships with veteran communities, government agencies, veteran service organizations (VSOs), and military installations. Contribute to communications and marketing plans designed to reach military audiences through various channels. Prepare presentations, webinars, and content to be presented to military installations and veteran partner contacts. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts, collecting feedback and data to inform program enhancements. Prepare annual reports of activities for internal and external audiences. Represent Villanova at appropriate conferences and host onsite events as necessary. Maintain a working knowledge of the Department of Veterans Affairs current policies and regulations. Deliver information on policies and procedures of admissions, financial aid, and education benefits to prospective students. Government Partnerships: Serve as Villanova's liaison with the Federal Academic Alliance (FAA). Participate in all planning calls with FAA and coordinate engagement opportunities. Develop new outreach efforts with federal, state, and local government entities to promote educational offerings. Team Support: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and foster collaboration across departments. Provide administrative support for outreach and partnership events and activities. Participate in events with CPS on occasional nights and weekends. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience. Strong organizational, time management, and relationship management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience related to higher education, military, or government preferred. Military experience is a strong plus. Salary: Commensurate with experience.
