Assistant Legal Officer
We are looking for an Assistant Legal Officer in support to ATG at our location in Frascati, Italy.
Please be aware that we are ideally looking to fill this position on a full-time basis, but we are open to considering a part-time agreement for a minimum of 24 hours divided over 3 days per week. The Assistant Legal Officer supports the Legal & Contract Manager in the performance of their duties.
The nature of the work is mainly in the legal and contractual sphere, but the performance of clerical/administrative work is also expected.
The tasks and responsibilities of the Assistant Legal Officer are expected to evolve depending on their development, capabilities and wishes, as well as the development of the company.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries).
Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Archive the company's contracts and other relevant documents in the contracts database;Prepare and review non-disclosure agreements;Prepare other legal documents (based on existing templates);Carry out legal research on various topics of interest to the company;Track developments in legislation;Assist in compliance with data protection obligations of the company;Assist in compliance with ESG requirements. A Master's degree in Law is preferred, but strong candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered;At least one year of relevant work experience;Fluency in English, both written and spoken is mandatory;Knowledge of another European language, in particular Italian, Spanish, Dutch, French, German or Czech is considered an asset;Knowledge of Office365, particularly MS Word;Knowledge of commercial and contracts law, as well as data protection, is considered an asset;Attention to detail;Good communication and writing skills;Strong organizational and time management skills;Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and develop as a professional;Willingness to take responsibility for proper completion of tasks;Ability to multitask and deal with ad-hoc tasks;Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
