Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Program Manager to join our team. The Assistant Program Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing the execution of a government contract, ensuring compliance with government policies, and maintaining high operational management standards. The role requires a proactive approach to project management, strong analytical skills, and effective communication across various teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Manager in all facets of project execution.
- Help in maintaining contract compliance and quality control measures.
- Support the coordination between project teams and government officials.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of project documentation and reports.
- Act as the Program Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless project continuity.
- Facilitate communications and meetings between project stakeholders.
- Assist in the analysis of project data to ensure alignment with government requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- A bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in government project management may substitute for education.
- Experience in supporting the management of large-scale government projects.
- Understanding of government policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Capable of independent decision-making and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work onsite during normal business hours and as required by project demands.
