**The Opportunity

**As an Assistant Project Manager at Arup, you will support the Project Manager to**:
- Manage day-to-day project activities for current and future** infrastructure project commitments**.
- Interface with clients to build trust and ensure their needs are met through clear and effective communication.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, with a focus on achieving team success.
- Coordinate tasks and ensure the quality of work meets the required standards.
- Effectively manage time, scope, cost, quality, and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project reports for clients, summarizing key issues and providing strategic recommendations for optimal outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, records, reports, logs, and registers.
- Assist in preparing and delivering tender submissions and presentations.
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress, ensure adherence to schedules, and update on status, issues, and critical situations
**Does this role inspire you?
**We'll also value**:
- Degree in civil or building engineering or any other similar technical background.
- Knowledge and some experience in the field of project management and related areas across a range of projects.
- Fluency in both Italian and English language.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in construction project.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to independently undertake project analyses and report on results.
- Experience of managing key projects as part of a team.
- Ability to quickly learn to maintain successful client and team relationships.
- Good communications skills (including formal and informal presentations, written communications and reports).
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
- Availability to travel within Europe.
- Experience on site.
- Experience on multidisciplinary projects.
- Interest in scheduling activities in projects.
- Interest and good understanding of sustainability themes in design and construction.
